ROWAN — The City of Rowan has issued a boil water advisory following a water main break, city officials announced Friday.
Residents are advised to boil tap water before use and to use water sparingly while repairs are underway. City officials stressed that the notice is an advisory, not a mandatory order.
The city is asking residents to share the information with neighbors who may not be able to access online updates. Officials said the city’s page will be updated as work continues and until the issue is resolved.
